Its depend on you, for small purpose go with inkjet printer otherwise laserjet is best.
For profession the Hp is best and personal use than canon, epson and brother is best.

    Hi...
HP is the best all over use, and his live longer product. For example: HP laser Jet, HP all in one use Printer etc....

    Thanks.

What do you need it for?

I haven't owned a consumer printer for at least 10 years.
I send all my invoices/proofs as PDFs. If a client can't handle a PDF invoice, then I'll post them a hand written piece of paper.
I use the digital Xerox monster at my local (150km away!) commercial printer for bulk printing.
If I need to print anything, it's worth doing properly. I send them a press ready PDF, and they mail me the finished product (or mail it to the client).

Which ever one can do the job and has the cheapest ink refill prices. I tried the refilling ink cartridge option. I do not need to have green, red and yellow fingers for a week again. ;)
I have actually bought new printers with cartridges cheaper than buying a replacement cartridge for another printer. Just basic 3 way laser printers.
