    I will go with either Philips or ASUS.
    Even in looks I like them more than AOC.

    That ASUS VE276Q computer monitor looked pretty nice and had some good reviews. Kind of pricey though.

    They'll all be good (enough). Buy on looks, and whatever else is important to you.. built in speakers, USB hub, height adjustment etc.

    I bought an AOC (2436VWH) nearly a year ago, pretty much because it was too cheap not to buy. I thought it would be a reasonably crap monitor - but it's actually really good.
    It has a very slight whine to it when displaying pages that are mostly white, very minor issue, and can be mostly removed by adjusting the brightness etc.

    From your lists, I select Asus, But why don't you have a look on Samsung Monitors, they are very good in providing defined Images with more contrast ratio.
