    Their is not additional tactics for long tail keyword . We use long tail keywords because of low competition and easy to archive good ranking

    longer keywords are a good ideah its easier to rank for less competition but also less traffic. Best way to look them up is google adword tool.

    Your keyword doesn't necessarily have to be long-tailed, it just has to specific enough to your niche that you rank on the first page of SERPS

    You can find some long tail keywords in the "Keywords" section of the Google Analytics. Use guest blogs to write some posts to target these keywords.

    Long tail keyword search can stretch from 2 words to 5 phrases (only in rare cases), but comes as a 3 to 6 words search phrase. Comparatively fewer websites compete for long tail keywords.

    Use the Google keyword tool to identify long tailed keywords that have less competition and high searches. Use the keyword in your blog post's header and tags. Also use it a few times in your blog as well. When you back link use the long-tailed keyword as your anchor text.
