Forum PR

I have a PR2 forum that connects to my MMORPG. My pagerank hasn't changed at all in over a year, despite the launch of the game and listing in several directories.

If people post links to other sites on my forum, will that lower my PR? Thanks in advance.

I wanted the question answered, actually.

P.S. How is a custom-built MMORPG not unique content?

As far as i knew. YES. The more outbound links you have there will be chances that pr will drop.

Yes according to Google if you link to someone your link juice flows. So it can lower your PR if you link too many sites.

Not sure the outbound flow of linkjuice actually affects that page adversely or many directories would have no pr!

I agree here. I don't think having outbound links will lower your PR. It's just the more out bounds you have the less link juice those sites your linking to will get.
As far as your site, there hasn't been as many PR updates as there use to be. Just focus on building more links that are relevant and have higher rankings them selves. Listing your sites in directories is not enough. Directories have little no value when it comes to passing on link juice.
    --------------------
Just a note*** Page rank does not equal earnings or high serp's. It's just a useless number. Most people don't care about it unless they are selling links. I would focus on targeting your keywords to gain organic traffic and not worry about PR.

to get higher pr you need more incoming links to your site and keep in mind it's much more difficult to get from PR2 to PR3 than it is to get from PR1 to PR2 as PR has a logarithmic scale.
