    I have set up a facebook page for a client, and it presents lots of benefits for his business and has links to his website. Trouble is, nobody is visiting the page. How do I generate traffic?

    I have built it, but how do I get them to come?

    There are several facebook groups related to his niche. Should I join those groups and then make posts on them about my client's page?

    You don't have to use your personal Facebook account to promote your client services. create a separate account on FB for your client then get your clients friend list populated, the next step would be suggesting the page to the people in that particular list. you can also offer some stuff to people who are going to like your clients FB page. in this way it will be promoted :)

    If you have another account on Facebook add more friends then promote your fan page by posting it on the walls just like what tsub4sa is doing. Make sure your Fanpage contains interesting pages, well updated regularly. Also you can put discussion page. :)

    Facebook PPC is a good way to go. If yoiu get a good promotion and target fairly well, you can get a pretty low per click rate. I'm still learning it right now, but I'm have decent success. My mentor can get down for .01/click. Me, not so low LOL

    Yeah. . facebook is very effective to increase the traffic, try to create a group discussion there and invite your friends and acquaintances to join. Try to actively make the discussions that interest in a way include a resume of the latest you articles and provide the most important backlink
