    IS IT A WARNING FOR GOOGLE?

    IS GOOGLE IS LOOSING ITS IMPORTANCE OVER TIME?

    OR IT IS JUST FACEBOOK EFFECT AS MANY PEOPLE NOW A DAY SPEND TIME ON IT?

    Also, Page rank update in in progress, one of my blog lost it from PR1 to PR0 :( .




    UPDATE :- 20 July 2011

    Now,
    Google updates its PR in hurry to get its PR back to 10 .

    Anyway, according to the recent TV news, Facebook is loosing its popularity. Fewer people are using Facebook these days. They are finding the navigation aspects to be cumbersome.

    I think Google wants to show the world that when it comes to ranking or PR ranking system no one is indispensable . It means that they are not bias with it...

    You can say so.it is clear in image above... may not in future or If Google change its PR algo.


    Absolutely right.. It also gives a message to webmaster that Google algo is unbiased.

    OMG! This is unexpected.. :( I just noticed the PageRank of the Google and it's global sites has dropped their PR. Now I believe Google PageRank is only based on it's ALGORITHM.

    Thanks to Google Development team for being TRUE!!!

    got to think facebook isnt going down for active members its going up i've noticed sense facebook i dont use google as i much to in the past. Facebook offers more to me then google now.

    PR does nothing. People who own a website with PR0 can get tons of traffic and make 5 or 6 figures monthly.

    I don't think it really matters, we all know that Pagerank does not bring us traffic or make us index any differently in the search results.

    after panda it is very hard to rank again especially for new websites, so i think lots of marketers will search for traffic in social sites...

    i thing that google pr9 tells much about the importance that google gives right now to the page rank. i believe that page rank alone cannot be a factor in a website popularity and success. one sould wisely choose his keywords when starting link building.
