CMS which allows me to update multiple sites at once

I have a client who is looking to create multiple websites with all the same content except each would have a different url and be customized with different contact info, etc.

Same template for all. There may be as many as 150.

I'm trying to find a way to do this so that, if I update the master site, all these other sites will update automatically.

Has anyone run across a CMS which can do this? Thanks.

Wow.. 150 sites with the exact same content and just a different URL? Hmm, okay.. Well, let me just answer your question:

Have you thought about RSS feeds?

Update one site, add it's RSS to the other 149.

They would be the same with the exception of a unique masthead, etc. But the articles would be the same making the rss feed idea interesting. I'll investigate. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, i dint come across such type of idea before, but its really cost reducing as compared to multiple websites. I have worked on Joomla CMS but never came across such case before.

I would use Drupal. You can easily run multiple web sites off the same code base.

Business Catalyst would work for this as well.

If you have local templates that effect more than one website, than changing the template could effectively change all of the sites. You would have to re-save the template to each site individually, but the actual design or content changes would only need to be made once.
