    A major update is an understatement. This is the most dramatic I have seen for years. This is truely the mother of all PR updates. The last update in January is based on data in May 2010. This update seems to be quite current. So you are talking about 3 updates rolled into one.

    I wonder if anybody have any idea on what month's data is this PR based on?

    the changes to mine were:
    pr0 -> pr1
    pr0 -> pr3
    pr2 -> pr0

    For me this PR update is really crazy. Some site which we expected to be at least pr5 are pr3. And some we didn't expected even pr2 are pr4. These is really Madness.
    I believe this update is based on old database for sure reasons.
    Anyways the only person who cares for Page Rank is the link sellers. We all care for traffic right ? :)

    PR is determined on the basis of the PR of the backlinksssss---- if Google's backlinks do not have the PR strength to make it PR 10 -- so be it --------- just natural.
    Study the metrics of PR first
