If you guys would know WHO is behind Oron, you would understand many and many things about that company.
Oron officially is a Germany based company BUT it was registered in Germany by a Russian expatriate who - as far as I read in other forums - was a former erotic photographer/porn producer who had to run away from Russia. God knows where Oron servers are located.
At the same time, Oron is the only filehosting company who bought 2 of the biggest adult forums, even if they officially insist they don't allow adult stuff to be uploaded !!! There was some time ago a discussion in the Oron thread about this, they never confirmed if adult stuff can or can't be posted... and this could be used as a weapon against their users because they could shut down your account without reason.
Now check the whois datas of F.....ophilia and Pornbb: you will see only Russian names.
Try to click on a Oron link somewhere: there is not even a way to report files. All the other filehosters have a report button or a report form near the "download" button, Oron doesnt. This could be one of the reasons why less files are DMCA reported, but it could be also that Oron has is servers in a country like Panama or Tajikistan where they don't give a damn if they get a DMCA report.
Serious companies like Filesonic, Rapidshare, Megaupload, etc. enforce the DMCA, shady companies like Oron and all the Russian filehosters simply don't care.

 

May be you are right!!!but filesonic must find a way to stop fake dmca notices.

All the filehosts have the same DMCA policy,except Oron.

Oron sucks,because of 2 reasons>
1.limited premium accounts
2.the pay/download plan sucks

 

Hm, thats very interesting.
I think it would be GREAT to have at least one absolutely legit filehoster. Lets see how it gonna work...amazing chance to see wheiter it is possible for a cristall clear business to flourish (no sarcasm at all!)
Looks like a great attempt to survive or stay afloat. Nobody wants to die...
I sincerely wish FSN success!

As regards smugglers and pirates (even me!)...well... there will popup many other adventure seeking filehosts, untill DMCA gets them. Then they will create sister companies..etc... until it gets too dangerous to seek for an adventure at all

 

For me it looks like a "good" way to end and stay online but dead like Hotfile and Rapidshare.

 

for me it looks like a good signal for many affiliates to decide what to do next (without suddenly finding thhemselves in critical situation)...and a good way for FSN to try a new path.

(BTW Blade... check again your WU sig... needs some attention )

 

This Month or last 2 weeks must be my lucky time.
Just online again and....Got my second lifetime sales.



And for adding the best part : i haven't posting anything in last 2 days, i've got very bad Flu. Recently i added mirror for some of my post ( wupload ), but the result not as good as other, still Filesonic links gave good earnings.

I Think Filesonic still have it all...!!!

i think you all need to remember that filesonic is a business. it gives you plans to choose from, and you try to make the best out of it. you get paid EVERY TIME, with no holds whatsoever. Filesonic and Hish have ALWAYS kept their promises and showed us that they mean every word that they say. The fact the we choose programs like PPS and get a massive amount of downloads and no sales is of no one's fault but ours. And same thing goes the other way. This is business guys, and you have the privilege to be in it, and enjoy it's lucrative fruit. You get a finger, don't try to take the whole hand, because you might end up with nothing
