Quality content is tops. Google loves it. Then advertise your site through link exchanges, social bookmarking sites EZA. It takes time especially if you don't want to spend money on advertising.

*chuckles* Are any of you idiots on page one under the most typed in keywords?

    Didn't think so.

Some twitter marketers post tweets that contain links to funny videos, entertaining posts, or outrageous news clips.

You can point users to your blogs and websites and have a recap of these current events, or a copy of the video. Posts thare are nothing but promotional will quickly get you unfollowed.

Ok. So basically that is your problem I suggest you to make your keywords close to your posts. And it should be searchable by the readers, buyers and visitors so that you can earn money from your affiliate products.

I never care about the keyword, actually no idea how to do keyword research at all, I just write as what I wanna write, hehe... And today again I heard someone advising me to check keyword for SEO, I just don't have a clear mind about it though... And sometimes when I submit my article to ezine it's saying keyword overloaded, since i have a blog of movie and TV, same character has to be repeated again and again, hehe... Guess it's not so easy for me to do keyword SEO...

one thing I've learned from our SEO head is to take some time looking at the top 4 websites resulting from the keyword you entered (that which is applicable for your blog or post) and then observe how their articles/keywords and promotional methods work. It may take some time, but it's all worth the effort. Though yes, I agree with what were stated above. Quality content, good relationship with your readers, and not much blatant marketing per se would work. :) (and I'll still be testing that with my new blog.. ) :)

You don't have to spend a dime but you should your time and energy to generate decent amount of energy. But I know you can, because you are willing to do the work, right?
I recommend you article writing (I'm personally using) and forums posting, social bookmarking sites, etc. But stick with one or two methods

Best way is simply joining blogs in your niche you are interested in, and adding useful comments (ensure the comments are useful or the admin will simply remove them)

Thanks for the info and may I know where to find the top 4 websites resulting from the keyword I enter? Is it through google toolbar or something else? And I do appreciate at your words about quality content, I so far just concentrate on the content, not caring about keyword that much, since I even don't know how to give attention to it, haha! And I have just about 100 articles in one of my blogs, the other has even less, I guess it's also important to add articles as many as possible, isn't it?

this helped me: 40 sites linking in didnt pay for 1 of em
google "submitem now" only add on for firefox its great.... its an auto form filler just have to enter captcha codes thats like 3 secs....fully customised with just a right click on mouse and gets u turning over website and classified submissions in less than 10 secs a site so fast and great definately recommend...also you can add directories and free websites submit sites to its directories.....most sites need you to re-submit every 60 or so days :) so ur directory keeps growing without u bookmarking everywebsit u submit :)....also google likes new content so the more often ur website changes or gets bigger in other words with more posts it gets a better rank....i have a wordpress blog on the backend of my site makes it easy and its ranked in top 1mill with no submission for months lol even for a boring removalist website :) been ranked at 300 thou with only 9 pages...not badddd

If you do not do proper keyword research you will never get "thousands of visitors".....the key to winning at online marketing through organic traffic is to rank for KWs that are high search volume....you need to use the Google KW tool and find "exact" match keywords that are over 5000 global monthly, then rank for those keywords....

This might be a bit contrary to your question but, as my mom would say, don't be penny-wise and pound foolish. I've found that if I invest even a small amount of money on ranking my sites, say $30 a month, it frees me up to create content. I've found a few gigs on Fivver for creating backlinks to be well worth it. Social Bookmarking especially can be very tedious and can be outsourced for only a few dollars.

There are some suggestions in order to geting targeted traffic to your blog/websites effectively:
    1. Creat the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

    2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important -- and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more - that's additional traffic that you get without any dimes.

    3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEO can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.
    4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.
    5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Here is a comprehensive list of where to submit your articles http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=…

    6. Post a link to your site for free where it is allowed (always read the Terms of Use).

More articles = more traffic. Make sure all articles are unique.
