Difference between forum and blog

I want to difference between a blog and forum. Kindly share the couple of difference between forum and blog

 

In simple words there is one small difference between forum and blog.

Under Forum we can create our own thread and also comment on other threads but in Blog we can not create our own thread we can only comment on thread.

 

Blog will Run by one admin. Forums will run by admin,moderators and forum members. In forums members can share their views according to forums policies. IF the overcome their policies means moderators are there to ban that member

for me the fourm is the best because you can collect more members and more posts unlike the blog

 

Forum is a platform for members to interact on various issue of their interest , seek advice, get information and so on. While blog is publication of certain material having some subject theme and some key words. It is personal expression of blogger. The nature and purpose of both is quite different.

 

Forums are like social mixers, where everyone is at equal level, milling about and discussing with others. These many to many communication tools allow anyone to start a topic and anyone to respond to one. Members are often at equal level, and content is usually segmented by topic.

Blogs are like a keynote speech where the speaker is in control of the discussion, but allows questions and comments from the audience. Blogs are journals often authored by one individual, and sometimes teams. I

 

Forums allows discussion between several people while Blogs are meant for a single user input, with possibility for others to comment.Forums are for short chit chats while blog are for serious and long lectures.

 

In blog you express your views on already written post. In forum you discuss on some issue with many other partners.

When people try to use forums for the purpose of writing a journal, their messages get lost in the stream of messages, making it hard to follow the story.

Also, people tend to post many short messages inside forums, while blogs are more used for posting longer messages (on average).

The difference is really simple, you comment on blogs and can't create your own threads but on forums, you can create your own threads and still comment. They both end up giving the same result i.e backlinks and traffic.

 

Forum is more powerful then blog . and google like forum better then a blog

 

Forum and Blog both are very different things. Blog means a person shares his thought on a particular topic by writing an article and posting them on a blog site. While forum is a place where we can share our thoughts, gives opinions and ideas and debate on a particular topic. In blog posting, we write an article on a particular subject, while in Forums, we discuss about a particular subject with other people who are active on the discussion boards.

 

As far as traffic and backlinks is concern I will prefer most in forum.

 

Blog represent a website or a specific person.
And forums is collection of many information.A forum hold more than one different topic .

We can Create post and reply post in a forum site .

 

A blog is where one person writes and other people can leave comments and stuff, and forums are where lots of people can talk and make different subjects and topics and have this large chat room type of thing going on.

 

forum is a public place where everyone comes in and share what they know, but blog is just your diary
