How to Submit Sitemap

Hi, my question is that what is the best method to submit a sitemap to Google? And what are the advantages of submitting a sitemap?

Create a Google webmaster account and then add your site to it and then submit the sitemap to google for the crawl.

Advantages are:
Your site structure is quickly known by google bots.
Your site is crawled quickly.
Bots have exact information about your site and when to return and look for the content.

In other words sitemaps are for your site enhancement...

There's loads of sitemap creation tools - use something like http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/, upload the generated file and tell webmaster tools where it is.

Submit it to Google by creating a webmaster account and submtting it there. You must upload the file to the web root of your domain.

 

You can use Google-Webmasters Tool to submit sitemap directly to Google, It is better way to submit sitemap !

If you want to add a sitemap to Google then you should create a Google webmaster account. After that submit your site to Google.

 

if you can program in any language, you can use your own script to create a sitemap. i have a site with many pages and was frustrated by these useless online sitemap tools so in the end i made it myself. it came out better and much faster
