    because its always been faulty when MS creates an OS. if they create an OS thats light weight, its vulnerable to viruses such as XP.
    when they created OS such as seven thats not vulnerable to viruses, its as well need high end hardware.
    now, when will they become good at it?

    We can't say about any operating system's reliability without using it. Currently it's in development phase and will much like Windows 7. But when it'll be in RTM then we can see advanced features.

    Well they make OS for latest hardware if you see latest hardware would easily go with the new OS's since now the personal computers people use range from pentium 4 to i7 not much can be done i guess

    I've heard about this. I'm running Windows 7 and I'm not going to be switching. This is just laughable to me, not the idea itself, but because of the fact that it seems more for tablets than anything else.
