Do bookmarks always have to be an interesting article, like Digg? If so, how to succeed and always stay interesting!? And now, specifically in regards with Social Media Marketing... What are the main social media websites? How can I market and gain backlinks via this method, especially if most do not allow links anymore? How can I get these social media pages to affect SERPs, if at all? How to attract visitors to join on social media platform, and how to continuously interact with them? Hoping for help..

Some famous Social bookmarking sites are digg,delicious, reddit etc. I recommend you post interesting content so others will also try to bookmark your site and as end result, you may gain a lot of traffic and Backlinks. On the other harnd, the main social media website are facebook, myspace, friendster, bebo etc. You can promote your site using these social media and adding friends to your network so they will visit your site. Always update your blog and surely visitors will add you up.
