That's not entirely true. Ideally yes, but I know many that were affected that should not have been. On the last update I had 2 site affected and they were good sites with unique content. Not even Google is perfect.

Google is constantly tweaking their algorithm this doesn't surprise me anymore. I do hope that they are able to weed out the low-quality websites better this time around.

Yup, there are a lot of reports that webmasters are having their rankings drop the past few days.

    Yes again!

and the old one is just with no accurate perceptions, they might just de-ranked every one. :(

I think with the number of complaints from admins of their innocent sites being targetted the update can't come any sooner

Google manually checking for those content and comparing billions of webpages to see who's at fault...and I'm going to believe it...:)

Panda 2.2 is mostly targeted for content farms and scraping sites, Google want to promote niche websites having genuine content with some research work in their articles/write ups.

Yes, I couldn't agree with you more... The fact of the matter is that Google is making it more well known to webmasters and there alike of what they are doing, when they are doing it and who they are going after... Before, they just did an alorithm change and left webmasters scrambling to the drawing board trying to figure out WTF was going on.

Atleast now, they tell you WTF you need to do to make your site exactly like what they are looking for!

Either you make the changes to your site and hopefully reap the benefits, or you leave your site alone (if its scraping, of low quality, or republishing) and fall off the face of the earth...LMAO!

Only few people can still make money from copied content through autoblogs. Because they know how to receive organic traffic and they can still make more money than the persons who are manually creating "high quality" content. But those few people never disclose their secrets and the others think that original content is a must. Most of the people here are just worrying about every algo update and try to increase their forum post numbers by copying and posting useless, old info here. If they think that original content is a must, why do they spend time here? They can just write more original content on their blogs and watch the result. A person can create less than 10 original posts per hour while an autoblog can create hundreds even thousands of posts. I hope these numbers can make a sense. Even if the 1% of those thousands of copied posts get ranked on SERP's, autoblogs can still get more traffic than the genuine blogs.
