    Hi all,

    Most of you may know me as the creator of my clickbank product PS3LightsFix.com, but today I am here to announce my 'non-spammy' (I put these in inverted commas, because I am not here to spam, like many other journal authors do!) journal about making money through yahoo answers.

    I know that journals aren't allowed here, so I have created my own external site that will be the journal, so don't post questions here:

    I know that Yahoo Answers isn't the best for money-making in the long-term, but I am doing this to investigate the profitability of YA.

    So, just sit back, relax and we'll see if yahoo answers really is still profitable!

    I wish the best of luck for your task! I'll be following your journal closely.

    Also, without meaning to discourage you, I personally don't have much faith on yahoo answers as a marketing tool. From my experience with that site, I'd say it's mostly used by young(ish) people and people looking for free advice. In other words, conversion rates seem quite poor.

    For example, in some of my experiments I got about 20 "best answers" while directly encouraging the inquirer to purchase a product, and only about 1 or 2 really did follow my advice.

    Again, I don't mean to discourage you! I hope you keep at it for the next 181 days.

    Don't listen to him.. yahoo answers can convert like mad. I have a few offers that convert 1 in 30 - per visit value of $1 w/ yahoo answers.

    Good luck, but I agree that there are better places to market than YA

    You can join a forum in the niche, within a day have dozens of posts, and within a month (or less) be seen as somewhat of an authority.

    I used to look down a bit on forum marketing, but Im learning that its a lot more powerful than some people give it credit for.
