New site - page 1 to page 2 just like that? :(

so i have a new site www.cpafix.com - i have done basic SEO on page - and had around 2k backlinks done in the last few weeks - about a week ago i was ranking on page 1 - about 8th for "CPA Forum"

now after adding more content etc im 2nd page 8th

any logic or reasons? how can i bounce back?

 

You on the home page is almost no text. Google does not like it. Write about site, add keywords and see the result.

 

why would i be placed onto the front page and then drop?

its a forumhome on the index not really sure how i can add more text?

 

this is after last week's google dance?

 

i really have no idea - sorry not to hot on SEO yet - still learning - what should i be checking? can anything in webtools help me?

 

You have to continue promoting on social network as well. That is the great option for getting page rank as well as traffic.
I think you have not enough back link. Please make more quality do-follow back link. Hopefully your site will come up google page rank.

Since your site is very new, content is important so Google can trust you. In the very early beginning be careful with backlinking. Don't do too much of it or else that will make Google suspicious. And the backlinks you do create, make sure they are through high ranking and quality sites. That is why articles are a good way to build your own backlinks as long as they are dofollow.

 

may be the content you added is not good and you know panda....

 

New sites always get good ranking in the beginning of time,but will return to normal after a period of time.
