    Why not go with the instantly recognized and trusted payment systems.
    PayPal allows auto recurring billing, as does Amazon Payments.
    They work for me...always have been extremely pleased with their performance and safety.

    I was thinking something that integrated into paypal or preferably google checkout, I'll look into amazon payments but what I want is basically a recurring cost shopping cart to use with those recognized services so that people can choose what they want and then add them to the cart and purchase them because paypal requires an API integration to do those things.

    Amazon Simple Pay Subscription might work but I would prefer more flexibility to allow for purchasing x number of something in one transaction, not having multiple transactions from plans, basically allowing the building of your own plan.

    paypal or google checkout is best,there are other self hosted softwares available,but not so popular and may get hacked before your business goes online (jk).I recommend Whmcs as premium billing software(not free).
