    Hi Guys

wonder if there is any suggestions on this. Is there any point of buying traffic?
Some one has recently approached me with an offer of sending 50k unique visitors to my site for a fee on a monthly basis. is it worth following up?

Any one knows about any good provider if it is a good idea?

I definitely wouldn't as the traffic would not be targetted

Make sure its not a scam, I have several ecommerce sites and I often get scam offers to buy products at whole sale.

You should ask what kindof unique traffic is it, what happens if its not to the agreed number-- getting demographics is vital and see if it lines up with your own.

I generally stay away from directed traffic unless its from email marketing, special offers etc.

If your going to pay for any type of traffic I would pay for a solo ad to someone elses list in your niche.

This add will either direct people through your affiliate link, or take interested customers directly to your sales page.

Now, if your not selling anything on your site forget everything I just told you lol

I wouldn't do it either. So many things go into that. I would say unless it's targeted (people seeking what you have to offer) then it's just simply going to be exposure that does nothing for you.

I wouldn't do it...most of those are scam programs and they are not going to be targeted traffic like someone else said. I have done them before and NEVER brought me one single sale.

If you want instant targeted traffic go to payperclicksearchengines.com there are a lot of pay per click companies besides Google. Google is good, but will cost you a lot more than others.

    I hope this helps you:)

I wouldn't buy traffic. You won't benefit from that since it's not targeted. What will you do with lots of traffic if you're not making any sale?

Targeted traffic is what you need. Not people on paid per click sites or what not.

yeah right buying traffic is not a better option ... well someone would say it ..

buying traffic is a hard choice .. buy only targeted traffic if you want to ..

Search google for reviews before buying ....

The problem with buying traffic is that there are a lot of places out there that will in fact scam you and not deliver as promised.

Another factor that you will want to consider is buying traffic usually results in manufactured clicks or expired domain traffic going to a number of sites that are in the network system.

These generally result in very low unique click through rates and will result in a very poor conversion rate as well.

If you are just starting out, I'd rather see you get involved with joining credit-based advertising systems that will allow you to market your business and receive practically instant and targeted traffic to your affiliate programs.

Be careful though, not all systems are created equal. If you plan to go after sites like safelists, viral mailers, viral list builders, etc. always make sure that they are credit-based and try them out before you decide to upgrade. If you go after the ones that don't have an incentive for their members to open your emails, your results will be very low.

Once you've tracked your results and have determined that certain sites perform better than others, upgrade in those for maximum effect and increase your reach of how many people you can promote to.

A word of caution though, when joining this type of marketing approach, you are going to be presented with hundreds to thousands of offers, which will generally clog up your inbox. Just create filters for the programs that you plan on working with and you should do fine. :)

Buying traffic is frowned upon, because who is to say you check your stats and you find you didn't receive 50K worth of visitors, and the person selling you the traffic says they sent them to you, or even worse 50K worth of auto bots, how would you prove they were not real visitors, when the other claims they were?

The best traffic is free traffic. Your free traffic is targeted and attracted to you which makes your conversion rates higher. I suggest your learn to rank higher and get free traffic from the search engines.
