If you built your site use CMS, just find plugin or extension to handle that job, but if you use HTML or PHP or another programming language you can use sitemap generator site. Just use keyword "sitemap generator" in search engine to find them, and the site will do it automatically.
    Good luck !! :D

only submission is not enough, you have to verify your sitemap through yahoo site explorer.

this is probably because of reason that yahoo dont count every site map, you need to verify you site with yahoo metas so add them properly and resubmit again

log in with your Yahoo name and password (same as your Yahoo email if you have one).

Once you log in, you’ll see two choices:
    1) Submit a Website or a Webpage – skip this.

    2) Submit a Site Feed – this is what you want.

You first need to upload your xml file to your website’s home directory, or, if you have just a text listing all of your files, then name it urllist text file and upload it to the same place.

Yahoo asks for a confirmation, you need to verify that you are the owner of the site by logging in with your Yahoo account. After that there should be no problems.

Submit meta tags in home page or upload file, to do Yahoo verification which is required. Submit sitemap and wait some time to index your site.
