    Dreamweaver is great, but in some ASP websites Dreamweaver has some issues, In this case I use Microsoft Expression. It is heavy on machine but it is really WYSIWYG on ASP only.

    There are no. of softwares avaliable in market for this purpose. Some of the softwares you find like:
    Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, PhotoFilter, Corel Draw etc.
    And i think adobe photoshop is be more effective among them.

    I've found nothing that beats Dreamweaver, right now I'm using CS4. I rarely use any of the auto suggest features but it's nice to utilize them occasionally.

    The software tools we are going to elaborate on are Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Flash, Adobe Contribute, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite. They are so easy to use, beware you can get hooked on to them

    i found that lately i'm getting used with the gimp & inkscape for designing web, then use bluefish editor for core programming.
    i think it's a good thing that nowadays there's a lot of free software for developing web.

    IMHO, i think Adobe Creative Suite is still the best app for designing :D [but they're not cheap either, and it can't run well in my linuxOS]

    Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 is the best web designing software i have ever used...
    with so many features and user friendly interface,its quiet famous among all the youth today...:)
