I think my most successful marketing method is doing adswap, which are taking advantage of leveraging, if i have 10k list, i swap with someone with 10k list, my product is expose to 20k people. If i swap with 10 people who have a 10k list, my exposure is 100k! Hope this will help those who are serious in building a list.
I built my site with SBI and followed their instuctions. My visits come from searches from Google, Yahoo and Bing. The best visitors come from people searching your for your content (help) that offers solutions for their problems.
Forum posting, article/video marketing, Create and post 2 articles a day, 1 video per week make 40-50 forum posts on forums related to your niche you will get 10000 UV soon
At DNP (as per our stats) mailer marketing is heading the list of most successful marketing methods. I will say it really depends on the products and the target as well. For example, sending a mailer campaign to a 19/22yo range I doubt will be the best option, specially because young customers don't like to read that much! Anyway... you have to tailor your marketing method depending on various factors, between them, age and product.
Guest blogging and article marketing .......... Although when I read your query I hoped you had said at least 500 UV daily coz frankly 500 UV monthly is like being non existent on the internet...... As a general thumb rule , you will need atleast a few thousand hits daily for the online investment to work for you .....
As they say, the money is in the list, as long as you have some trusted subscribers to your list, you can keep marketing to them over and over again
