What is do follow and no follow?

hello guys !
i am little bit of confuse about "what is do follow and no follow?"
and what is dependency of link juice for these?

Do follow gives you link juice to increase PR, no follow do not.
They both help with SEO rankings.

 

dofollow and nofollow are the rel tag for any http link on your site. So if you specify the rel tag as nofollow, the search engine spider wont crawl that link. if you specify it as dofollow, then when search engine crawls your page, it will also crawl the link on your site. This will pass on the PR juice to the sites linked on your site.
Its basically saying that your site is recommending the other site and hence gets your vote. Thats how backlinks work in the world of SEO. Any link within the contents of your page are usually dofollow and comments are usually nofollow.

Leaving comment on nofollow blogs wont pass on the PR juice to your site. But their are sites where comments are dofollow and you benefit by commenting on such blogs by getting a back link.

 

no follow links are those whose google not follow in indexing the site...
and follow the do follow links to index the site...

 

Those are the instruction to the Robots. DoFollow is for following the links on the website & NoFollow is for not to follow the website links.

 

do follow - google can crawl the link after that consider as a backlink
no follow - google can crawl the site. we can get the backlinks from the site.

 

Google takes 'no follow' as simple text and takes 'do follow' as a backlink.

 

I have read about some famous internet marketers claiming that NOFOLLOW backlinks had positive affect on their SERP rankings, but you need like hundreds of NOFOLLOW links to rank better.

 

Google Consider only do follow link as a backlinks. There will be no benefit from No Follow link as a Backlink.

It is attribute of HTML tag. Both are helpful for keyword ranking but dofollow tag make link juice and no follow not.

Example:
<a href="http://mysite.com"> is normal
<a href="http://mysite.com" rel="nofollow">

 

DoFollow links are followed by search engines and those links provide link juice. And NoFollow links are not followed by search engines. They never be indexed by search engines.

 

DoFollow link to your site then you will receive their vote and that will improve your ranking. But if they use the NoFollow link then you will not receive any vote and your ranking will stay the same. Remember, it will not decrease your ranking but the backlink will simply not count.

A very simple :

Do follow - googel consider your backlink
No follow - google won't consider your backlink

 

Do follows are just the absence of no follow tag, would not find too many of them..
