What Domain Is The Most SEO Friendly

I have found a domain for a key word which generates around 30,000+ Global Monthly Searches on Google.

From an SEO perspective only (not worried about branding or people remembering it) which of the following domain name examples would be the best for SEO purposes.


1. www.key-word.net

2. www.keyword.net.au

3. www.key-word.com.au

I would avoid options 2 and 3 completely. #1 is possible but Google considers hypens as a break meaning you won't get full juice from the keyword. You might be best looking at alternatives and ideally finding yourself an available .com with your keyword in it.

I prefer to use only .com, .net & .org domains - so, I would go for the .net version you listed above. Also, 1 or 2 hyphens in your domain isn't a problem.

But I'd recommend grabbing a dot com domain.

 

My vote goes to #1. I think this will give you maximum benefit.

 

com, org, net are the best options

 

if u are planning to rank good locally, go for country level, it will be much much better. of cz without the dash is better, google understands it as key and word. 2 diffren word

 

In My Opinion, First URL is more Suitable comparable to others two URLs.

 

ccTLDs are domains of a country like .au .us .eu .uk

 

I think .com.au is better

 

Keyword.net.au is the best

 

I prefer to use only .com and .info

 

I would go for .net domain if that is available...

 

.net domain is best for networking site.. your site is networking site you use .net domain and if you are planing geo target net.au is best for you..
