What do you use for scripting PHP and coding HTML? Me personally, frontpage, because it's full of memories...

    A plain text editor: textpad.

    Crimson Editor is good too.

I still use FP every now and then for some html. It does not work with php. I have used notepad for years but finally got tired of counting lines numbers.

TextPad is neat but cost $30 to register so I settled on NotePad2. It does not allow multiple open windows but otherwise seems to have all the features of TextPad. It is also free.

It also has a neat feature that might exist in TP but I did not use it long enough to discover. Syntax highlighting. If you click on a { it will show the the correct }. This sure helps a lot when you multiple occurences. I have broken the same script more than once by editing the wrong line.
