what is pdf?

Hi to all.......
Can any one tell me what is pdf and how can we get page rank to use pdf in optimization? I am really waiting yours nice and detailed reply

 

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It's the kind of a file that you read using Adobe Reader.
I believe search engines do not read PDF files, so they would be useless for optimization.

 

Post the direct of your PDF file on different websites. This will help you build links. And once you have enough the file would rank higher.

As for cedarcottage, search engines DO index PDF and can be found in SE.

PDF is abbreviation of PDF Portable Document Format. you can also optimize pdf format file.
There is PDF creator available. Just Google it. you will get that.
MS Office 2007 has also option of pdf convert you can also use that if you are using MS Office.

There's different flavors of PDF files. A search engine can't read a PDF image file unless the file has been 1) OCR'd to a PDF with hidden text or 2) you create a PDF normal file by printing i.e. a word document to PDF.

I think the main idea is that you create PDF document with some links to your websites, and upload it to several sites so that search engines can "read" your PDF (and links placed in it).
I'm not sure it's simple way to make link-building, just because there're not many quality websites that support uploading (and internal links to this uploaded file).
BTW, you can use another types of documents that are indexed by search engines, for example DOC or XLS.

 

Is pdf affective for backlinks or page rank?

 

Wow this is really good! Everyone is really friendly and respectful.

You can create pdf files, and put your backlinks in them. When google indexes these links, the link juice will pass to your site.

You can upload them scribd.com, and other sites.

 

So easy ....Just google..

 

PDF is now readable by Google Bots, so, it's now relevant for backlinking and good for websites as well.
