    Hi friends,

    i am new to advertising. I have a website http://www.worldofdth.com
    i am selling the banner space on my website:
    10$ for header for 1 month
    8$ for footer for 1 month
    5$ for postbit for one month

    now the advertisers are wanting to pay for 6 months and 1 year, and i am confused how to create packages on half yearly and yearly basis.

    Can you please advice me to create advertising plan for year and half yearly which can be beneficial to me....

    Thanks

    Give them 2 months free if they pay 1 year as upfront. This is like an industry standard.

    If these are the monthly prices;
    10$ for header for 1 month
    8$ for footer for 1 month
    5$ for postbit for one month

    Yearly prices can be look like these;
    100$ for header for 1 year
    80$ for footer for 1 year
    50$ for postbit for one year

    And semi-annually prices;
    55$ for header for 6 months
    44$ for footer for 6 months
    27.50$ for postbit for 6 months

    You must be good in dealing a business with your client. You must have a convincing power in order to grab a client.

    I always gave one month free if they signed up for six months. I didn't offer the yearly option, but I agree with make it easy. Offering 2 months free if they pay for an entire year is a good practice.

    That's really a good option to give a month free with six months and some discounts in a yearly plan. But what ever you sell, it should be very attractive then only there going to be any possibilities.

    Have them pay up front, then you say the last two months are the free months. Then since the contract ad term is up, if they dont want to pay for more, then you can find a new advertiser to take the spot
