Do forum signature links help PageRank and SERPS?

I've read many SEO articles where it says that forum posting is one of the important aspects of link building. That has an obvious effect of PR. A high PR site has a can get a good ranking in SERPs easily.

Some usergoup's got completely no follow. Some user group's have got 1 do follow and 1 nofollow, premium users have got completely do follow.`

Yes, obviously forum signature links helps to increase PageRank and SERPS but only do follow links from high page rank forums only.

Wow. Thanks for these helpful do-follow forum links. I was looking for these too. And, yes forum signature can be a help to increase PR. Sig especially from do-follow forum can create pretty strong backlinks and drives traffic towards you site.

Not just forum links too. The more diverse you are with your overall link structure, the more natural it will look to Google. Whether its forum links, blog comments, whatever... focus on them all. DoFollow/NoFollow, etc. Make it look natural.

Thanks for the great list. Just try to be active on forums and give good suggestions which are valuable to forum members. Try to get signatures from niche forums and make sure the signature links are dofollow. You get permanent link from forums signature.

 

I don't agree with this, because i am a non premium member here at DP and both my signature links are dofollow
also, i haven't noticed any specific user group which is completely no follow.
i have even noticed a premium user with one dofollow and other no follow link his signature area. so, sometimes its quite confusing to guess what works and what's not

 

Forum signature is helpful in getting you relevant backlinks and traffic. So it has a direct influence in the PR ans SERP. It also helps in marketing your site.

 

Doffolow / Noffolow both help Rankings
As for PR i never cared about it ...
