    Technology is a wide and extremely competitive niche ; you may be better off taking a sub niche like Android phones or Apple products or something similar.

    Use the Adwords keyword tool and check out whether the domain exists at any half decent registrar. If it does, go for it. If you're in it for the long haul, chose something brandable instead of focusing on keywords.

    Having a good name suggestion by yourself is very easy and the best way.

    Search on internet for the site related to the one which you want to start, and you will have good suggestion from then. Get help of Word for synonyms and I am sure you can form an attractive available name.
