15 year old boy from Okara (Pakistan) passed Oracle i9 test

    I just got to know about this news that a 15 year old boy AMMAR AFZAL from Okara (Pakistan) who is a student of 9th standard BPS School in Okara took part in a test by Stanford University and he was the only student in this World who succeeded in this exam by getting 4.99/5 points as he broke the code and Professor Simon who divise this test said that no one in this World can break this code but the guy did it and Simon stuck-up to his pledge and resigned

    Actually, it looks like this story was a fake. I have no doubt the OP thought it was true, since this was published in the Pakistani media. But, the Pakistani media seems to publish many "facts" without any verification. Such as, when Wikileaks came out, the Pakistani media was caught making up their own leaks - for example, quoting from non-existent leaks. Or, more recent, when Osama was killed, the Pakistani media started publishing the fake photoshopped picture of him dead. This is in no way to demean anyone, I have no doubt a Pakistani would be capable of doing something as described in the original post -- However, it doesn't appear to be true in this particular case.

    Rebecca i am not a Pakistani i am from turkey but i have heard this news too a few days ago,tell me are you some kind of racist person?Capable people exist in every corner in the world.Remember few facts about Pakistan that they are still developing but in some aspects they are very best.They are a nuclear power, Pakistan has the largest ratio of engineers working in NASA than any other country in the world and according to the latest ranking of top 10 intelligence agencies in the world pakistans ISI is on no 1,there are a lot of other aspects of pakistan too course but i am not gonna discuss them here but tell me if something else about this country LOL

    You believe this, because you just heard this "news" a few days ago? Uh, actually this fake story came out in 2009. And, I'm a racist, simply because I call this story for what it is? As for the rest of your post, read the last part of my post and try to comprehend what I'm saying. I suppose by my saying, "This is in no way to demean anyone, I have no doubt a Pakistani would be capable of doing something as described in the original post" you were really confused and felt the need to go into a rant about the greatness of Pakistan.
