what is the difference between alexa ranking and google ranking?/////////

Please any tell me What is difference between alexa ranking and google ranking?

 

alexa is more traffic focused.....quite like birds eye........google ranking is much detail from root to structure to on page to off page.

In simple words Alexa ranks means how much the site is popular in terms of unique website visitors.Google page rank means the importance of that web page with respect to Google.i.e more page rank the site is trusted or the link is popular over the internet.I think Alexa page rank is most important

Alexa rank is depending upon number of visitors visiting the site...if the visitors increased then Alexa rank also will be increased. Where as Google PR is depending upon ..PR of inbound links.

Alexa makes a guesstimate on traffic based on visits from people with the Alexa toolbar. It's an estimate, it's not an accurate measure and should never be taken as such.

Alexa ranking is based on your site's traffic (but only works and counted with pcs with installed Alexa toolbar). While Google ranking is based on several mixed-up factors of quality and relevance of a web page to a searched-query

 

Alexa is based off of links and unique page views and analytics is mainly designed to help the site owner expand their traffic for the websites they manage.

 

google's ranking is important than alexa's ranking,but a good website must be have a high google's ranking and alexa's ranking,but have a high alexa's ranking may not a good website,and it is suit for google.

 

Google algorithm uses many factors and not just a few to decide the ranking you get on the results page(SERPS). There is no doubt about that. That figure 200 is just an assumption.

 

They are jsut adverse to each other. The more the google ranking for your website, the more creditability for you. Vice versa for alexa. These factors need to be considered when approaching for any forum site or article site etc.

Alexa rankings considers only that sample of visitors who have the tololbar installed. Wheras Google PR depends on backlinks. When some one links from Page A to B , then Google interprets it as 'Page b is important'

 

Basically google ranking is basically ranking of your website on search engine depend on quality plus quantity of link you have whereas alexa ranking depend on traffic you are getting on your site
