Giant Site or Multiple Micro Sites for AdSense?

I want to hear from people whether building one giant site with loads of content and plenty of traffic is a better option from an AdSense revenue perspective as opposed to going after smaller sites (niches) with higher CPC's.

Would love to hear from people with actual experience....

 

i prefer use microniches for my adsense..

 

In my experience it is more about smaller niche sites as long as you can get your keywords ranked well.

 

One big website...! it is always better

 

Smaller websites are easier to rank but bigger sites will make you a lot more money in the long run.

 

for me multiple small to medium sites instead of a big small site. do not put your all eggs in single basket.

 

Plenty of traffic is better, but I would not want everything on a single site, it's better to have at least half a dozen sites working for you, in case something happens to one of the site you won't find yourself with no revenue from one day to the next like it happened to me back in 2008. Lesson learned!

 

Giant site is much better, earning more stable and the chance getting banned due to significant risk is much lower too

 

Thanks for all the responses! Myself and a business partner of mine are currently making $1000 per month AdSense but we want to be making $30,000 p/m... So we were just wondering what the best approach is... I believe a decent amount of medium sized AdSense sites are probably best... Once again, thanks for the input...

Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.
That's too risky.
Having many, smaller sites is much safer.

 

Discussion related to this topic is endless indeed. But, i think the choice is based on the nature and objective of what you want. Yes, micro niche sites can rank well in particular targeted keywords but in a long run or for consistent income source, huge sites play the role. And google is also sandboxing or de-indexing micro niche sites which are made only for adsense without giving proper and unique information to visitors. So, micro niche experts like Xfactor is also increasing the page of his micro niche sites so as to maintain the position in SERps for the targeted keyword. SO, i think better to have huge site, but you can possibly research keywords and make micro niche pages in your site. Another thing, risk of baning from SE is also low if you have huge unique contents.

 

Why not make many bigger sites? Why do you rely only on one big site?

in my opinion a giant site is better since once a site becomes authority like ezine,ehow etc.it will become easier to rank for easy keyword and also there is a chance that if you grew enough to get 20-25 million page views you will become a premium adsense publisher .
