    hello people,

    i wondering if i will add lets say 30 pages that has mostly youtube videos and less content (maybe few lines) to my site will it be effective from seo perspective? or should i stick to 400 words articles and that`s it?

    Youtube is effective some how but it depends the need of site if site requirement is content then you should post article.

    I am agree with "Ayesha", it all depends upon your nature of business. But if we talk in general, content (unique and informative) should be considered first. Search engines gives more credit to good content but you will also find social search (Youtube, Twitter, Flickr) results in SERPs as well.

    It depends on what your users want to see. If they are visiting your site in search of videos, then it would be better to have the videos. You wont be getting much traffic via search by only having the video on your page...

    Well, It's depend on what business you are doing. No doubt from seo perspective quality content is the best way. I think you should mix up it.

    A nice mix of both is generally good, you're giving users a choice between the two mediums -- a few hundred words of quality content and the video. You shouldn't limit yourself to one.
