How did you made the payment? If you used PayPal or other payment gateway you can ask a charge back and get your money back from him.

A simple way of making sure these things are not scam is paying only after the project is done or paying a part when the project reaches a certain point and the rest on completion.

 

48 positive feedbacks and 1 negative. He might've ran into problems. Or have been really busy. It can happen. Be a little patient.

Also, you need to provide proof that he did scam you.

 

eventhough he is busy at least he shows me the progress of script but the fact when I ask him about the progress he always says script in progress. we have made a deal before if he can't finish the script within 5 days our deal will cancel. He himself said project will be done within 3 up to 5 days. and he asks me to pay $50 as upfront payment..beware my friend, domainsurfer is cheater. after he gets your money he won't finish it..I have disputed my money in paypal can I get it back?

This is the kind of immature behaviour that pisses me off. I have no idea how this guy has managed to collect 12 feedbacks with such an attitude.

Basically, this guy wanted a clone of webanswers.com in 5 days. I got the payment on tuesday and I have done the best i could in 5 working days for 120$ there are still some styling issues.

There is a certain process that needs to be followed before the delivery of this project, i need feedback about the work.. This guy hasn't replied back to me with the feedback

I agree some of the features such as sorting, top stats and pagination are still left but i find opening a defamation thread with my name and phone number in it offensive. Now, this guy is asking for a refund, and frankly speaking I wouldn't mind giving it to him. But what about the work i have put in for the past 5 days ? Does that count for anything ?

Here is what i have done till now :

1. User can register
2. User can post question
3. User can answer to question
4. Question can get associated with a particular category

 

1. You don't go around posting phone numbers.
2. if you have a problem, take it up with paypal.
3. looks to me like he is doing the work.

also, that script looks to me like its worth more than the 100 or so bucks your paying.

I have cancelled many offer to create the script,,and we have made a deal if you can finish it what you have promised our deal we cancel this project..your demo is just html that I can create it easily..I ask you to show me the admin panel progress. you said monday is done but the fact is not..I wanna cancel this..don't promise if you can't do it..

 

but he never give me report and the progress. I have paid the upfront payment on May 16, 2011 but now is May 24, 2011. he said this will be done on 21 but the fact? I want my money get back and I will ask another person to create it. many freelancer can do it. I don't want to waste my time just for waiting without report and progress

Just for the record, I'm not a scammer but been scammed by slashmymail. I worked on the script for 5 days. And barring some incomplete features, I m done with the script. I will be selling the script on DP in a few days. After it has been completed. With more features than the clone. With a better design. And with facebook / twitter integration too. And alot cheaper than 120$

And i will not sell it to slashmymail. Now, please delete this thread.

 

don't trust him..he is a cheatter...he asked me to close the dispute but I won't coz If I close it he want to run away my money..
