    I have no experience with Joomla 1.6 but compared with Joomla 1.5, Drupal is like Nirude said miles ahead. With Drupal you can actually customize everything you want (and the code is clean!) this isn't possible with Joomla (for free).

    Beware that Drupal 7 doesn't include keywording in the core. They are adding it, and there is a hack module. In all other respects, very seo-friendly.
