I tried going on google to find some good deals on reseller hosting packages, but it's too much to handle! Too many offers, too many gimmicks, I think. So, I ask the DP community for some help.

Here's what I'm looking for:
1. Reseller Hosting Packages that are $25 and under
2. As much bandwith I can get with that^
3. As much storage I can get with that^
4. cpanel, programming languages, the standard stuff
5. Any other neat features/extras

Hi there are so many web hosting companies with reseller hosting options however Justhost and HostClear are good for me. Not usually. You normally pay a fixed monthly amount to your hosting company, and then can set up and sell your own plans accordingly. You do not pay your host for each account you sell.

 

You get WHM Panel if you buy reseller account. You just need to pay them once per year. Through WHM panel you can allot your client hosting account with desired package you want and cpanel. I checked the Reseller Panel website recommended by alexme. Their basic reseller hosting package is for free but the profit will be the difference between wholesale prices and the retail prices. Do other reseller packages work in the same way?

 

Most companies do not do it like ResellerPanel. You would see that model a lot years ago, but not so much anymore. ResellerPanel (if I recall...don't take my word for it) handles the billing for you, then pays you the difference between the wholesale price and what you set for the reseller price.

The majority of companies out there simply give you a block of disk space and a block of bandwidth, for a set monthly (or yearly) price, and you create your own custom packages and plans through cPanel's WHM. You need to handle the billing yourself, normally through PayPal or another payment gateway/credit card processor, and billing software, like ClientExec or WHMCS.

Places like ResellerPanel are great for startup companies (since I don't think they require any payment from you to start), but they also limit you and how much your business can grow, since you will lack certain flexibility and control over your plans, accounts, etc.

 

Your budget seems quite good to sign up with a reliable web host.

You should not decide a host viewing only reviews, check them fully before deciding. Support is the basic aspect of this hosting business and every reliable host have quick and friendly support. Basically it is good support which makes a host reliable and visiting them multiple times will give you a fair idea about them.
