Wrong page rank report.

When I checked my Pr on http://www.prsitecheck.com/ it showed pr1 while on any other pr checker site it shows pr0. After a while(an hour) I checked it again and it was the same on http://www.prsitecheck.com/(pr1) and same(pr0) on other sites. What's the problem? Before a few days(5 or 6) when I checked my pr on http://www.prsitecheck.com/ it showed pr 0, so I assume it has increased. But what about other sites that show pr 0?

 

maybe they are not ready to give your site a PR 1 yet.

 

i think this tool is totally wrong, i know already this tool (http://www.prsitecheck.com/) wrong for page rank my site have PR 4 but this site has show PR 1

 

Install the google toobar and check your pr. That should give you the correct pr.

 

It's probably using a different Google's server from the rest.

 

There are far too many reasons for this. Might be that google's being updating the data across all datacenters and all the PR checker script uses different ones.

However SEO is not about PR and just forget about it. Focus on content and traffic.

 

Some PR tools are just wrong. If you use Google toolbar, you can see the PR.

 

its currently going through an update so maybe all the centers havent been updated yet, give it some time

 

I can see this is old. But does anyone every bother to just check their stats/logs to see if there has been any change in traffic. PR is about as reliable as the TV Weather Guy.

 

pr checking tools have no reliability to so don't trust on it much....

 

I agree. Whatever PR you had, it doesnt matter. Focus on baclinks , the more backlinks you can get the better SEO you'll get.

 

I totally agree. A lot of website owners getting good PR still has to ask help from SEO experts. That mean, pr tools can never help you in better traffic.

 

GOOD POINT!!!! Don't spend too much time on PR tools, this is only pertaining the your site's content, if this is useful or not. But basically, what's important is if you're on the first page when somebody searched your keyword. I am sure you all wanted better traffic, right?

 

For correct result when you try to check your page rank. You can use :

Quite an old thread. As many have recommended, Google Toolbar is the best tool for checking pagerank. I also use the seoquake bar.
However the reason for your rank to be shown different on different tools may have been because the datacenters weren't updated uniformly.

 

I really dont care about PR, for me,will my page appears on first page of google results for optimized keyword is all which matters.I think thats what makes difference to your business,Unless u r trying cash your PR.

 

rather going for such tools i simply chcek my PR though google tool bar or SEO quirk.

 

PR should be the least of your worries. You can have PR 0 and be on page 1. Or a PR of 3 and page 100. It is irrelevant.
