    No honey, that will never happen :D
    There is some minor update going now but not an official one. I can see most of the sites in my group are loosing their pagerank since last couple of weeks ;)
    However dont be much concerned of pagerank, instead make sure you have enough backlinks for your site.

    more like every 6 months or more.. Dont worry about page rank that will happen in time just put good quality backlinks related to your niche if possiable awseome way to do that is articles, forum and blog comments just make sure they are do follow. It takes time but good things normally do.

    I think Google has not stop updating PR I can see some of my blogs from NA its goes up to PR0 in just a month time so I guess their is still updating it but not a major one at the moment.

    There is just no major update happening for Google discouraging webmasters and site owners to focus more on PR but on rankings instead.

    If you still continue to build backlinks when Google decide to update PR you should see some results,no one has any idea when a PR will happen.

    Maybe Google is testing it's new " Panda " algorithm and wants to focus on it first before calling for PR update.

    There is no specific time of PR updation.
    Google employees say that PR updation is a regular and gradual process... Websites which deserve ans update can see a change in the green toolbar.

    PR is not an important metric so you hardly need to bother about update.

    Google is updating Pagerank every 3-4 months but Minor updates happen.Google Major PR update occurs once in a year :D
