    I knew articles marketing was one of the way to build back links, just wonder any other ways that is more simple rather than writing articles? Any idea? Please help. Thanks

    Yahoo Answers is a great way to create a buzz. Stumleupon is another great way to get traffic and links for a social bookmarking site. Twitter has brought several links to my site.

    After Panda update, forget about article submission. It creates duplicate content issues. Backlinks that you get from article submission are low quality.

    Some good link building techniques,
    - Directory submission
    - Forum posting
    - Social bookmarking submission
    - Link baiting
    - RSS submission
    - Microblogging
    - Blog commenting (blog commenting is a very effective way of generating backlinks... I use a tool called 'Keyword Country' for finding dofollow blogs that accept blog commenting for backlinking)

    The problem with Panda (and today's update) is not about dupe content, but more about the quality of links and the spam. Most of the stuff mentioned just creates low quality links that won't produce results. It's hard for an individual webmaster to get ranked #1 without a very strong link building plan.

    Aren't most social networking, forums, article directories and even some web directories using the rel="nofollow" these days? Doesn't this mean these backlinks will not be as effective? Does the anchor text used still have a benefit?
