    Hello,

when I enter site:mysite.com in Google, it shows 233 pages in search result. Well, this proves that my site is indexed in Google. But whenever I run SEO and other tools, all tools say that pages indexed in Google = 0. Yahoo, Bing shows indexed but not Google. Also when I copy paste a unique thread title from my site to Google, it doesn't shows my site even tho it list site which doesn't even have exact match(same thing happens with yahoo too!). What is wrong? Can someone please advice me that what am I doing wrong here?

    Thanks

It's not google penalty but most of the SEO tools shows that kind of result for backlinks in Google.
While checking the backlinks in SEO tools consider the result given by Yahoo and not google.

Are you sure it's not your pagerank that is 0? Your pages will be indexed as long as google is visiting your URL. Try submitting your URL to google to have them index your pages faster.

I did submitted my URL to Google. I always get 0 just for Google. But I have another question. I says I am indexed in Yahoo, but when I enter a unique thread title in yahoo as well, it show all irrelevant results instead of exact phrase from my site. What might be causing this problem?

    Thanks

So your website is obviously indexed all over google. Is it your pagerank that is 0? That could easily be the case. Otherwise I would just chalk this up to unreliable and slow to react tools.

you should determine the difference between site backlinks and site indexing if you type to google search bar site:www.mysite.com and it show result it is a good thing because google still inxing your page. Maybe the tool that you are using is for backlinks and not for site indexing.

I have checked your URL it showing 229 as pages indexed but not showing any results for backlinks.

So as you say that you command for index is right and showing correct results but tool which is showing google=0 it might be for checking backlink coz I have personally checked that for your backlink there is no results in google. So verify your tool and if it is right then do more productive task for increasing backlink so that it can shown by your tools.

    Hi Iron Hide,

I see your site it very young, you registered it last week so your PR of 0 is normal. Your backlink count is also normal if you have not made any links to your site from other sites. Here you must also consider that google will index a link for your site only when it sees it. This can take weeks, depending on the page on which you got the link. I also noticed that google is indexing far fever backlinks than other search engines, like yahoo. For example for google.com google has indexed 48,500 links and yahoo over 170,000,000.

As per not showing up on the results, this can be caused by multiple things: bad or no SEO, the youth of your site and so on. Do some SEO on your site and have patience, you will be there.

This is because most of these tools are blocked by google in accessing their data. This is the reason why they do not return any results or shows 0 results. If you have results using site:website.com then it simply means that these pages are indexed in google. Also, don't rely only on the data given by google. The truth is, they would not reveal all information to you. They will just give you estimated data but not the actual data. Check on your rankings. Focus in increasing your SE's rank.
