Yahoo Site explorer 999 error

    very frequently Yahoo site explorer gives 999 error when I try to check inlinks of more than 1 or 2 sites. I wonder is this a bug or something goes wrong from my site. Anybody knows?

    yeah i m facing the same issue from past 15-20 days...so i have to use backlinkwatch to check backlinks but i liked yahoo site explorer more :confused:

    The Main Problem, is Yahoo not giving you chance to search backlinks, or inlinks. The Main reason, is because you have done excessive exploring in yahoo. The Same Problem happened to me. But, when i open from another computer, it is working fine. So, yahoo is blocked only me.

    what ? r u sure about this ? whats wrong with checking backlinks....i m sure there must be a different reason.i feel because the pc is infected with malware or something so maybe this could be a reason....not sure though :confused:

    That's nonsense! what is the meaning of showing the links if you could not even check them. From another computer it works because it recognize you as a new one, but when you submit the second site it will again go down.

    I also encounter Yahoo 999 error whenever I do some manual kw search.. So everytime I encounter that error, I'll try to clear my cookies and wait for a minute or two to get back on searching (it works for sometime)

    This error is very simple it will stop you from accesing the page and it is due to the less band width simple try to refresh your page for some time may be you can solve it like this very easly.
