Which is important in Search Engine Optimization?SERP or Page Ranking?

As we all are familiar with Search Engine Optimization, In this,we all should be aware from two different words first is "Page Ranking" and second is "SERP".I would like to know which is the main factor in terms of Search Engine Optimization?

In a Search Engine Optimization we have two target first is the Page Ranking and the Second one is Search Engine Result Page. Both have own importance in this.

SERPs is important when it comes to SEO, page rank is just a number to be very honest.

 

If you are looking for traffic, SERP is important. If you are looking to sell links PR is important.

 

Both have their own importance but I will tell that first improv eyour search engine ranking and after that Page rank

 

SERP is more important because it gives you traffic. What are you going to do with a website with high PageRank but no traffic?

 

Anyway, all you care is how much traffic search engine brings to you. So the SERP is the most important thing, PR is only one of the important factor that affect SERP.

 

In My Opinion Search Engine Rank Position is more Important as compare to Page Rank.. Because if you have batter rankings it is more beneficial comparable to High Page Rank..

 

but obvious SERP is more improtant, else you wont get any traffic to your site...

 

Basically while optimizing website we do have two intentions.Though our first thought is to get good rankings in search engine but our second through is also to get good page rank.So both are similarly vital to their part.

 

Both plays a vital role in search engine marketing but Page Rank tell us in which position is determined our site in search engine.

 

Both are the different thing. High page rank means quality of your website & SERP means position of your keywords in the search engine.

If you're selling something, then you need traffic .... SERP (Ranking in the first 10 for your keyword) is what you need.

If you're just looking to sell links ... you need PR...

 

Actually both are inter connected. Page ranking is achieved when Google algorithm feels your site is healthy, genuine and have reliable information. And if your site has all those features, it will automatically starts showing in higher search result. The more the visibility, the more site would like to refer to you and your site gains more authentication.

So, it is more or less inter-related.

You're right, but you can actually rank a page with PR0 for a good keyword. Having a good PR certainly helps, but it doesn't automatically mean that if your page has a high PR that the page will show up in the first 10 positions...

SERP is more important to see the website at good position, also increases the traffic, PR gives the ranking to your keyword not traffic.

 

Obviously serp, the high pr can not generate revenue for you. Only a good search engine ranking will give you visitors. If you get heavy clicks, then automatically your pr will increase.
