How facebook "likes" really help my website?

Google will see this as different links or it's just for traffic from facebook users?

Also I'm trying to hire someone to get some "likes" for me on my website and I'm afraid if there are ways to fake the "likes". Can you please worn me if there is a way that this person can fake the "likes" on my site and steal my money.

Another thing, What is better to have the "likes" clicked on my website or on my fan page on facebook?

Google don't feel the difference between 300 fans or 30k fans. What Google track is URL shares on Facebook. So if you just buy some fans it wont help you anyway.

 

Facebook is just for branding, the traffic you get is from you fans that visit your site.. As far as backlinks go, NOPE nothing..

 

First never go for likes which you have to buy and even dont know anything about where are they from ? You should stick to targeted fan page likes in your niche, so eventually you can get more visits to your site. Instead why dont you do some viral marketing by yourself, this way you will be assured whom you are adding for your fan page. Make some viral, catchy and attractive image and post on your fan page, then share and tag with your friends everyday, atleast 20 of them. This way your post will appear on their homepage as well as their profile page wall and you will get more people attracted to your fan page
