SEO now more rely on content or backlinks ?

after panda update, its need to know search engine give more importance to content or backlinks ?

pls advise

 

From the begining search engine give more important to good and unique content, search engine also like to consider only relevant backlinks from the starting..but you can say after panda update search enginge become strict for the duplicate content.

 

Its surely for content, no doubt in that.

 

I think content is first importance that google panda may be gives.

 

Definitely content. No doubt. First priority goes to the on page where the unique content will be granted and the copied content would be thrown out from Google.

 

Google gives more priority to the content only.

 

Content is the thing need to do perfect at the time of the OnPage Optimization. Google is the first Search Engine who has emphasized upon the content from the beginning. After the Panda Update content has became more vital. But the Link building is the OffPage Optimization process. This will be always required for the SEO. So you have to do the both.

 

You should always ensure you have your content and onsite seo in order before worrying about backlinks.

I have managed to get sites to the first page of google just by adding targetted content and optimizing onsite factors. Links are mainly a reading of popularity. Sure they contribute to relevance but not as much as content does.

Search engines value both relevancy and popularity but relevance (for obvious reasons) is more important

• 3. Even after providing unique content how Google bot is going the judge which one will be the best.
• 4. Here the importance of backlinks comes into action

 

I think Google will rely more on backlinks. Take for example, if two sites have equal weightage in terms of content, how google will rank these websites? It will rank by how the websites acquired backlinks. So backlinks play vital role in ranking of websites.

 

Links are still the most important factor for SEO. But Google has put a lot more emphasis on having good unique and informative content

Search engines before google came always gave importance to content. but once the arrival of google, backlinks always have the priority. Try ranking a site in google with just content and no backlink. you can see how long it will take. And google always know content is always abused and most are simply rewrites or shallow content.

 

Since the Panda algorythm and the large majority of sites crusified, Google simply went back to the theory they supported 4 years ago. They state clearly that internet is used to pass allong information so the verify the content. High quality traffic means , high quality content, not recycled matter covering the topics popular on google. The niches are flooded with such content no wonder that the affiliate sites went down like hell since last June. However the bottom line iss, quality backlinks are also quality content. A bookmark that nobody is interested in seeing means exactly nothing, while a bookmark accompanied by a review will get you in the search. Experienced myself and my guys are doing it as we speak.

 

Contents are the king. Panda update more concern in duplicate contents. Link building is very important but content is the best way to win the race.

 

SEO is about both... Content and backlinks.
