Oh, you did it already. Its better now. Resize the text from below so it harmonizes with the rest, or move it below or on top of the ad. I think just under the search would be nice and keep it centered.

To find best Web Hosting, Domain Registrars, Web Design Tools, Web Promotion Tools, E-Commerce Tools using the menu on the left.

I agree. What this pic illustrates is probably the best adsense optimization advice anyone can give. for me personally, it's about the balance between what the diagram suggests and keeping my site non-intrusive and tasteful (with as few ads as possible). i can add more adsense units according to the diagram and i bet i'll be making twice more than i do now but i am mostly interested in the long-term growth of the site rather than a quick buck and no repeat visitors as a result.

Has anyone tried putting the ads in the very middle of the page? I am thinking of trying it, but does it work?

    Hi there,

My first post here, I suppose it may be helpful in connection with the topic.

Well, I think You're thinking about some of these urls:

    - Eye Track III: http:// www.poynterextra .org/eyetrack2004/main.htm
    - Eyetools Research: http:// blog.eyetools .net

And something over DP Forums, also should be helpful:
    - Placement Matters: http:// forums.digitalpoint .com/showthread.php?t=12209

Too bad I can't place live links, so I had to place them as seen above.

As for me, the shown earlier photo (attached by SHT) of a heat map, which I've found myself a bit earlier, works great for me! My CRT has risen by 50% after I placed the Rectangular Advert (300x250) in the center of my website instead of Scycraper Ad being shown at the right column, what's interesting, at the same height of my web!

I hope, my info about the advantages of placing Google Ads in the center of webpage will be helpful to Delong, also number of clicks has risen so as Arnie said, ads placed in the center rock! :D

P.S. In view of that English isn't my first language, sorry for all mistakes I've made ;-)

Of all the locations I have tried, the center and upper left hand side are the best places to place your adsense code. The best format is the 120x600 format and the large square format.
