I don't agree with you! If you need Facebook fans, don't go to Facebook. You can always go to your site and write something very interesting. Add a like widget and social book marking tabs. If you follow open graph protocol, Each like will post it to users wall, and others will start looking at it...

If your facebook page provide useful information and they like it,follow your content suggest to their friend
I think twiend not good for quality or marketing but good for increasing your page view

 

This is probably against the Facebook terms, but one could create another Facebook personal profile that resembles a common thing people like (like trees or water or ice cream or something) and play games and add as many friends as they can by uploading emails, (5,000 might be the max?), then there's a trick where you can export all your contacts and their emails = much more valuable than fans on a Fanpage, where you can't export their info and are limited with what you can do. You didn't hear it from me, but in theory someone could attempt to do that.

Yes nvidru, it's possible to export your all facebook friends email list usin yahoo mail/gmail/msn's import function. Then you can make use of these contacts. But remember not to spam.
