    I would never use blog commenting to point back to my main sites unless it was niche related and i had something to actually offer ;-) On the other hand if you are going to "Spam" just to get links I would do that as a way to get links pointing to articles, hubpages, squidoo pages, i created that point to my main sites. This is a great way to get them indexed and build links to them, but again i would not do that direct to my money sites. Check out my sig for something simliar!

    When it comes to blog commenting, we need to write feedback, comment or suggestions related to the blog, rather than writing some comment unrelated to the blog. You can gain good backlink and even traffic when you follow the below steps.

    • Read the blog fully and understand the basic gist of it
    • Write comment or question in some 100 words, dont just mention "thanks for sharing, wonderful blog, great article or anything like that". Your comment should be like it should be approved, once it is viewed by the moderator.
    • Give link to your website in the comment section. Many websites convert the url to link, but some websites ask you to use html. Have a look at it before writing the comment. Once written, it wont be changed. If you cant add link in the comments section, you can use the following method.
    • There will be the following sections in the comment page.

    Name : Enter your keyword
    Email : Your email
    Website : your website url
    Comment : Enter your comments

    When you use the keyword in the name itself, it acts as a anchored text, bringing quality backlink.

    PS : If you comment on a blog related to your website keyword, your backlink will be gained more prominence. Hope it helps.

    Manual Blog commenting is good. But be sure the Blog should be relevant to your website or blog. Do use the predefined content, & Copy-Pest. Read the blog carefully & comment properly. Otherwise those will consider as Spam.
