Except for maybe DMOZ there is absolutely no point in submitting your website to directories. First of all you will get no traffic from it at all. Second, although the PR of the domain might appear to be high the directory itself is so spammed full with sites that it might actually hurt your ranking rather than improve it.

Hi, some directories like www.mastbusiness.com are getting their pr by having link from dir.yahoo.com and business.com. So they are getting genuine links. So google will never lower their home page pr5 unless they start selling links on home page. Also mastbusiness.com has unique content and have lot of internal links so their inner categories also have pr4 and pr3. So you can trust such directories and good for long run. Also they provide links in relevant categories only. So such directories can be trusted by google. If you can find such directories then its worth submitting. A directory like http://www.directorydolphin.com/ has pr6 but they are getting their links from pr8 sites. It seems they have hacked those pr8 sites and put their link over there. Google may lower pr of such sites anytime if it comes to notice. So such directories are not trusted and not worth submitting.
