How to test backlink?

Hello,
What's the easy way to check my site's backlink so that I can figure out what's going on. I also wanna check my competitor's backlink and set my future goals to hold my position to the top. PLease help with your advice.

i am used backlinkwatch(dot)com for see backlinks of any website. This is best tool for checking backlinks of any website.

 

I use backlinkwatch.com too. If you want to see what counts in Google's book, use link:domain.com in a Google search.

I use free competitors analysis tool to get the statistics of overall site. But Backlinkwatch.com gives great result especially on the competitors backlinks.

 

I think it's fairly unanimous that backlinkwatch is the best option. Free, easy to use, and updates fairly regularly. Don't panic if they take a day or 2 to appear though, I think it depends on how often your site is indexed.
