Best Practice selecting your Facebook Page Name

This might seem like an obvious question but what is the best practice when creating a Facebook Page Name?

If a company wants to create an official Facebook Page, for example:
    Company Name: Acme Real Estate

How should the name be written?

    1. Acme Real Estate
    2. AcmeRealEstate
    3. Acme Real Estate.com
    4. AcmeRealEstate.com

From a marketing and SEO perspective, which alternative is best?

Will Facebook automatically add .com after the company name?

They are all the same really ... I would go for the first one as it's the most prominent looking.

However is not about how you want your company's name is displayed but about account validation.

You can't have a custom URL until you validate your account via SMS

Space is not allowed in facebook page name, I think AcmeRealEstate is the best choice!

I think it depends on your country. I didn't validate my account via SMS!

    Thanks for the feedback!

I was leaning towards AcmeRealEstate myself. If i dont misremember i have seen page names that ends with .com.
Is this an option i have when i create my page or is it only allowed as custom URL after i get 25+ fans?

If allowed i think its better to create a Facebook Page Name that matches the URL of your site. Am i wrong thinking this way?

You can use dot (.) in your facebook page name, it's not a facebook option. it`s your option. BTW I think it's better to create the name with your main targeted keyword, for example see facebook business directory fan page: http://www.facebook.com/business.directories

I want the name to have the same words as my website. I'm undecided if i shall go with or without .com

Is it common for companys, websites to include the domain extension in their page name?

Spaces do not matter here. I would pick the first one - easy to read and your get the words in

    2nd and 4th will work,
Its ur choice but I prefer first one. because .com is useless is search, no one will search a site address in facebook search.

I think AcmeRealEstate.com would be good

Reason - Suppose it was some unique name (company name or bran name) then just the name without .com sounds perfect...but since ur site name consists generic keywords acme real estate using .com will add brand value. But if u have some unique name for ur brand/company then no need of extension

The first one is the most appealing
